I think Jesus died for two reasons:
- To make the world whole. Jesus was separated from the world that is no one understood Him. He left the world to close the hole in the world.
- To make the world unwhole. Sin acts in the entire world if the world is whole. He separated Himself from the world to make a gap through which sin cannot pass.
I concluded both of this from (1Jn. 2:2) “And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for our’s only, but also for the sins of the whole world.”
The sacrifice for sins works only for the whole world. It needs to reach the entire world rather to be stuck in its part. To make it work, He need to make the world whole.
The sins are sins of the whole world. So need to make the world unwhole to eliminate sins.
