Should we do God’s will? At first glance, it’s simple: we should. But in reality, it’s more complicated. God “works all things according to the counsel of his own will” (Eph. 1:11). So, if there is God’s will, it will be done. And do you know what follows from this? Any event is according to God’s will. After observing an event, we can know what God’s will was regarding this event – WHAT HAPPENED. So, we usually cannot act based on God’s will before we decided what to do. If we say, I see that God’s will is that and that and do based on this, it may be your mistake. And until the event that depends on us has not yet happened, we do not know what God’s will will be. We can try to guess it and do it correctly. God always acts correctly, and we do not – even if we fulfill (always correct) God’s will, our will, which, in fact, is part of God’s will (even for atheists), may be wrong. So how can we fulfill God’s will if we do not know it? I suggest doing it this way: find out the will of the devil and do the opposite. Well, sometimes the devil makes mistakes too. If you see that the devil made a mistake, don’t do the opposite.
