  • Why do we need commandments?

    Introduction

    Consider a 14 years old teenager. How should he make decisions related to sex?

    He doesn’t yet know sex and love. He is inexperienced. He cannot make decisions based on his own knowledge or experience.

    He need somebody or something to guide him.

    A thing which can help him is biblical commandments.

    If he would already know all about sex and all about its consequences (not even any adult knows all!) he would not need the commandments. He would not need the Bible.

    Commandments are for these who don’t know something.

    When we mature, we no more need some commandments. I, for example, don’t need that Bible would teach me not to marry an unbeliever. It is quite natural for me the knowledge that I can’t make a good family with an unbeliever. I know this in my inner man and don’t need that Bible would teach me this.

    There are two extremes:

    Extreme 1

    Extreme 1 is to reject commandments altogether (as for example atheists do).

    This way you could deny the wisdom of God and try to behave based only on your limited mind without help of God. This is not a good way.

    Extreme 2

    Extreme 2 is to scrutinize to follow every commandment you know whether you understand it or not.

    This is also not a good way. We should live by knowledge and faith (and love!) not by particular commandments.

    This way is to make Bible a law for you, rather than a guide. This is also not good.

    This extreme is caused by not knowing limits of applying biblical covenants to our life and trying to follow them in every tiny bit aspect of our life.

    Failure to reject the law

    We may set our mind not to fall into the extreme 2. But trying to do this in my old religion, I failed.

    My failure was this way:

    I understood that I should follow the spirit of Gospel not the commandments.

    But how do I know the spirit of Gospel if not by studying particular commandments? This way I found no other way to follow my understanding of Gospel as to follow every commandment as a law.

    Certainly, this way I often violated more important commandments trying to follow every tiny bit of the law I made for myself from Gospel.

    The teaching of End of Gospel

    The solution is to reject following Gospel as a law altogether.

    We cannot reject following commandments of Gospel as a law one-by-one, rather we need to reject living by a law altogether.

    For this we need understand where are the limits of Gospel as a whole are and that we need to reject being in the so called New Covenant with God altogether. We should become free persons rather than law-followers slaves.

    We become no more slaves of God in this new stage.

  • Why to praise God?

    People, especially unbelievers, often raise the question: Why God is required to be praised? Isn’t it antinatural to require a praise of Himself?

    When doing mathematics, we want to get familiarized with some math object. Often one of the most important question we ask about an object is “How big is it?”

    It is natural for a mathematician to describe how big is an object (such as a function). For example, when we have an exponential function, we understand that it is very big. It is not antinatural (as atheists think) in any way.

    God is very very big. So He is worthy of praise, that is of describing how big He is.

    When we praise God in a correct way (as guided by Bible and Holy Spirit), we are doing mathematics.

  • What is complete healing by Christ?

    As I claim in my book, Adam before his fall was an effective computer. “Sin” mean inefficiency. With Adam fall we become inefficient.

    Salvation by Christ means that we become efficient again. We are already saved what means we became efficient again (even despite we do not see ourselves as powerful computers). When God looks to us through Christ, He sees efficient machines.

    If you have no leg or no hand, in my opinion, it is unlikely that it will grow back. What then (Is. 53:5) “and by his wounds we are healed” and (1Pet. 2:24) “that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness; by whose stripes you were healed” means? It claims that we are already healed!

    This means that we received Holy Spirit as a prosthesis. Unlike human-made prostheses, Holy Spirit is better that our natural body parts. This means that through Holy Spirit we are more effective in some deeds than Adam was before his fall. And this deed is to be children of God, the peacemakers (see my book) of His kingdom.

    On the Earth as a result of this, we are blessed that is effective in our life again. We get blessed not accordingly our sinful nature but accordingly Holy Spirit.

    And remember that faith that we are already healed in Christ produces our natural healing. God’s living prostheses cause our natural body to be repaired.

  • Reward in heaven, how it is distributed

    It is my opinion, it may match or not the perfect truth.

    When Christ will give the rewards in heavens, there will be so many nominations in the competition, that everybody will receive a prize.

    (1Cor. 4:5) “Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord comes, who will both bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and reveal the counsels of the hearts. Then each man will get his praise from God.”

    In every nomination (Mt. 20:16) “many are called, but few are chosen”.

    That everybody will be a winner is clear from (Rev. 2:7) “To him who overcomes I will give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the Paradise of my God.” But everybody saved will “eat of the tree of life”, (Rev. 2:11) “He who overcomes won’t be harmed by the second death.” But everybody saved “won’t be harmed by the second death”, (Rev. 3:5) “He who overcomes will be arrayed in white garments, and I will in no way blot his name out of the book of life, and I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.”, (Rev. 21:7) “He who overcomes, I will give him these things. I will be his God, and he will be my son.”, again about every believer. So everybody of us will be a winner!

    Does this mean that we should not strive to win? Certainly no, because even weakests of us have the possibility to get a podium. God has chosen us to be winners, everybody a winner in his kind of business more than others.

    (Mt. 20:1-16) “1 “For the Kingdom of Heaven is like a man who was the master of a household, who went out early in the morning to hire laborers for his vineyard. 2 When he had agreed with the laborers for a denariusa day, he sent them into his vineyard. 3 He went out about the third hour,and saw others standing idle in the marketplace. 4 To them he said, ‘You also go into the vineyard, and whatever is right I will give you.’ So they went their way. 5 Again he went out about the sixth and the ninth hour,and did likewise. 6 About the eleventh hourhe went out, and found others standing idle. He said to them, ‘Why do you stand here all day idle?’
    7 “They said to him, ‘Because no one has hired us.’ “He said to them, ‘You also go into the vineyard, and you will receive whatever is right.’ 8 When evening had come, the lord of the vineyard said to his manager, ‘Call the laborers and pay them their wages, beginning from the last to the first.’
    9 “When those who were hired at about the eleventh hour came, they each received a denarius. 10 When the first came, they supposed that they would receive more; and they likewise each received a denarius. 11 When they received it, they murmured against the master of the household, 12 saying, ‘These last have spent one hour, and you have made them equal to us, who have borne the burden of the day and the scorching heat!’
    13 “But he answered one of them, ‘Friend, I am doing you no wrong. Didn’t you agree with me for a denarius? 14 Take that which is yours, and go your way. It is my desire to give to this last just as much as to you. 15 Isn’t it lawful for me to do what I want to with what I own? Or is your eye evil, because I am good?’ 16 So the last will be first, and the first last. For many are called, but few are chosen.””

    The God will pay everybody of us a heavenly denarius. No doubt heavenly denarius is more than all riches of the Earth. We all will receive the same amount of start-up capital to start our business at heaven. But later some will success in heavenly deeds of charity (charity is the heavenly way of doing business) more and some less.

  • When we receive Holy Spirit, are others robbed?

    I thought: When we receive Holy Spirit, are others robbed of the same spirit? Isn’t it discharged from others in order to fill us? Guess the answer to this question.

    Today I’ve realized that when we receive Holy Spirit it does not harm others. (John 3:34) “for God gives the Spirit without measure.” It means that not only the quantity of anointment put on one believer is unlimited, but that all we together have unlimited source of Spirit.

    The conclusion: Get as much Spirit as you can.

  • Should mathematicians receive help from God?

    I am a mathematician. I am also a charismatic believer.

    I realized that in heart I doubted: Isn’t receiving help from God in solving a math problem “cheating”? Doesn’t it mean that I only pretend that I solved it myself?

    After all, why algebra and calculus books don’t fall from the heaven?

    I realized that God wants to cure us from sin and gives anointment of Holy Spirit for this.

    We probably should not ask God that a paper book (or flash card 🙂 ) with solution of our particular problem fall from the heaven. It is probably because this won’t help to completely heal us from sin, what God is going to do.

    But anointment is different: (John 3:34) “… God gives the Spirit without measure.” This means that anointment should not be limited. We need to get as much Holy Spirit as we can. This can help solving a particular problem and this is not cheating.

    After all, if not a wonder of Holy Spirit, I would now lie in a psychiatric hospital not remembering my name, as I had very serious schizophrenia which God healed in one moment when I accepted Christ. If this would be cheating then I would honestly not solved any math problems anymore, because I forgot how to read and count.

    If you want to solve a hard math problem, pray to God to give as much anointment as possible, to solve this particular problem as easy as possible and to step further into complete dealing away with sin.

  • Holy Spirit is a prosthesis for us

    We are all sick. Sin is a very serious disease everybody of us sick with.

    Sinners do not only lack proper connection with God, but also are unable to calculate like computers in their brains (as Adam before the Fall was able). Also sinners are liable to irrational thinking. Thus sinners work inefficiently, unlike sinless creatures.

    What Holy Spirit does for us? He serves as a prosthesis. He advices and directs us how to work efficiently (for example, in earning money).

    The system consisting of a sinner filled with Spirit and Holy Spirit is what is called a “blessing”, that is a man or woman working more efficiently despite of his or her lack of computing power.

    Note that we should not be proud of having a prosthesis. Suppose somebody in the world would be proud of having no legs and leg prosthesis. This would be silly. In the same way it is silly to be proud of having Holy Spirit.

    This will continue to develop and in the future little God’s children will exceed angels, because Holy Spirit exceeds angels and he will prevail over our sinful nature. He will no longer need to serve as a prosthesis but he will not leave us after full healing from sin.

    You can read in my book how I was transformed into a sinless computer for about a month. This is the future of all of us.

  • John 1 is about mathematics

    In John 1 “word” means mathematics. So I’ve rewritten this Bible passage with the word “mathematics” instead the word “Word”:

    1 In the beginning was the mathematics, and the mathematics was with God, and the mathematics was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through him. Without him was not anything made that has been made. 4 In him was life, and the life was the light of men. 5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness hasn’t overcome it. 6 There came a man, sent from God, whose name was John. 7 The same came as a witness, that he might testify about the light, that all might believe through him. 8 He was not the light, but was sent that he might testify about the light. 9 The true light that enlightens everyone was coming into the world.

    10 He was in the world, and the world was made through him, and the world didn’t recognize him. 11 He came to his own, and those who were his own didn’t receive him. 12 But as many as received him, to them he gave the right to become God’s children, to those who believe in his name: 13 who were born not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. 14 The mathematics became flesh, and lived among us. We saw his glory, such glory as of the one and only Son of the Father, full of grace and truth. 15 John testified about him. He cried out, saying, “This was he of whom I said, ‘He who comes after me has surpassed me, for he was before me.’” 16 From his fullness we all received grace upon grace. 17 For the law was given through Moses. Grace and truth were realized through Jesus Christ. 18 No one has seen God at any time. The one and only Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, he has declared him.

  • Why we stay on knees praying?

    Why we stay on knees praying? I think we are preparing for God’s security system.

    In presence of God embodied in a body, one should stay on knees to make for him inconvenient to attack God’s body.

    However: (Rom. 14:4) “Who are you who judge another’s servant? To his own lord he stands or falls. Yes, he will be made to stand, for God has power to make him stand.” This means that God’s security system is revealed so good (“God has power”) that the need to stay on the knees eliminates.

  • Jesus humbled himself

    We have one more reason to give glory to Jesus. He did a wonderful thing: He humbled himself. See (Phil. 2:8) “And being found in human form, he humbled himself, becoming obedient to death, yes, the death of the cross.”

    This is a great accomplishment, because it is very hard to humble himself. It is easy to humble somebody other, but very hard to humble himself.

    Many times I found myself in this situation: I know that I should deny my own set purposes in regard to another side of a potential conflict. To receive something, I need to deny my desire to receive everything. I need to be glad in small, because otherwise the other side of the conflict is dissatisfied by my attitude to prevail over them. Humbleness is just denial of prevailing over somebody, in order to make a more fair deal.

    The essence there is that I know how to behave in this situation: I need to be humble, but I cannot be humble. All I could is to masquerade as a humble person. But this won’t work in relations with God, because God always knows whether we are sincere or masquerade.

    As I experienced in my life, a great enemy of humility is a too particular prophecy. If I set my purpose onto some special thing, I lose flexibility to be humble, to choose some other thing, and so receive nothing.

    Maybe, only Jesus can humble himself. But to receive humility we need to set our purposes on him. Not on some particular prophecy. Not on some specific thing of the world, but on him who has the wonderful power to humble himself (and us together with him).
