How to repent of sins (by a former maniacal killer)

In this short note I tell how to repent of your sins correctly. I strongly recommend to repent as described below.

Who knows how to repent of sins better than me, a former maniacal killer? Yes, I was a maniacal killer. I mean that I repeatedly attacked people with a knife with the purpose to kill and was unable to stop myself doing this because I had serious problems with my brain. Or, for example, once I said to a policemen “I am a maniacal killer. Give me a gun”; weirdly the policemen gave it to me; I tried to kill that policemen with a gun, but another policemen prevented me to do it.

  • Salvation is death

In this post I will present my theological theory of spiritual salvation, as described in New Testament.

This theory is not a dogma, but just my opinion which may be wrong.

The theory is as the follows:

Sin is a thing which happened but show happen no more in the future.

Salvation is ceasing of a sin.

The personality of a sinner is sin. So in salvation a sinner ceases to exists.

What remains of a sinner after salvation? The remaining thing is “negation” of this personality, that is prevention (the things needed to prevent of repeating in the future) of his personality to exist.

Salvation is taking a imprint of the sinner’s personality. But imprint is similar to the thing imprinted (however reverse). This way the soul of a sinner is presented in an inverse form. This is expressed by the Greek word μετάνοια (turning mind 180 degrees around) used in New Testament to denote repentance.

“Saved” persons are selected as worst sinners, which need to die to clean the world.

This theory (that salvation is in some sense death of a personality) seems confirmed by Bible:

“He who loves his soul will lose it. He who hates his soul in this world will keep it to eternal life.” (Jn. 12:25, refined translation)
“He who finds his soul will lose it; and he who loses his soul for my sake will find it.” (Mt. 10:39, refined translation)
“For whoever desires to save his soul will lose it, and whoever will lose his soul for my sake will find it.” (Mt. 16:25, refined translation)
“Whoever seeks to save his soul loses it, but whoever loses his soul preserves it.” (Luke. 17:33, refined translation)
“He called the multitude to himself with his disciples, and said to them, “Whoever wants to come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. For whoever wants to save his soul will lose it; and whoever will lose his soul for my sake and the gospel’s will save it.” (Mrk. 8:34-35, refined translation)
“For whoever desires to save his soul will lose it, but whoever will lose his soul for my sake, the same will save it.” (Luk. 9:24, refined translation)

(The quotes are taken from World English Bible.)

This mean that to receive salvation we need to agree that our sinful souls should “die” as Christ died.

Thus the topic that we need to “die” with Christ is now elaborated.

  • Christ passing through the sin

The following is a rough idea and my explanation may be not detailed or not exact enough:

As I state in my New Testament commentary, Christ is the radio waves (well, not only radio but also other parts of the spectrum) of the universe. Christ is also the truth (the true information contained in the cosmic radio waves).

When information passes through the sin, it is damaged, that is loses its content.

Christ is the only kind of information which can pass through the sin without being damaged.

So in likeness of sinful flesh it appeared the essential content of cosmic radio waves. All other kinds of information except of Christ has faded away, but Christ has appeared in likeness of sinful flesh, without any damage but remaining true.

This way, despite of being bad, sin reveals Christ, filtering away anything other.

Get my rough idea on how Christ is related with sin.

  • On the purpose of Jesus’s death

I continue to think about the purpose of Jesus’s death.

He died for us? By his deaths he restored the God’s justice? Yes, but WHY is it necessary?

Yesterday, I have got this idea:

Death of Jesus means that he stopped to do business as a human.

Now it is a step more clear, why he did it.

The next question: Why he considered it profitable to stop all human activity?

One (but probably not only) possible explanation is that he quieted fighting the forces of evil and “by inertia” forces of evil continued to struggle so to say in the place where he was, so confronting each other instead of Jesus. This way, probably, forces of evil harmed each other.

If you have any other concrete ideas why Jesus allowed to kill himself, please leave comments.

  • God and divine council

    Hello Dr. Michael S. Heiser,

What do you think about this idea? (It is my idea, but I am not quite sure if it is true.)

One of many ways to describe God (I mean Yahweh or Christ or maybe Father): “God is the democratic way of governance of the infinite universe.”

This way God and “divine council” are essentially the same. (But note that extrapolating of what we know about finite council to the infinite one may be wrong, moreover there may be several different ways to extrapolate finite systems into the infinite.)

This aligns with my social description of Christ in my free e-book:

Note that I duplicate this email in my blog. I ask your permission to possibly publish your answer too in my blog.

  • Why evil is necessary?

It is often asked: If there is God, He can everything and He is good, then why evil exists?

The only possible answer is that evil is necessary, that is absolute good is impossible without evil.

My supposed answer to this is the following possible argument:

The only mean to prevent evil in the future is remembrance of evil in the past. This follows that evil in the past is necessary (unless we would allow false memory of past evil, but false memory is an evil itself).

  • My confession

Before I have converted to Christ, I was a madman and also a maniacal killer. I was returned into sound mind in one moment when I converted to Christ (I was in age 15 years).

    I have become very jealous.

I was very proud by my mathematical talent. I had bad relations with people because of opinions on Bible. I was living in extreme poverty. I decided that I need to deal with country of my habitation (Russia that time). I thought that if I continue to live in Russia I could probably die of hunger, or at least live a useless life due my poverty and inability to do anything for this reason. I thought “Only one of us (me and Russia) can live, and me is more important because of mathematical research.” I decided that Russia should be destroyed by thermonuclear war and I could escape on a plane at the time of the war. (Read End of Gospel book for details.) I expected that this will be accomplished after my faith.

Later I studied a little of ancient Hebrew, and reading Bible I concluded that I must become a missionary in Africa, because some Hebrew words were similar to description of an African mission. (This was a false prophecy as I know now, because its details haven’t accomplished.) There were words in this Bible fragment denoting “will make very multitudinous”. I’ve concluded that through me will be saved at least 100 million people, and again I thought that me is more important than the entire Russia. I continued my thermonuclear warfare with even more zeal. Moreover, I decided that if my way would fail, then instead an asteroid should fall onto the Earth and “move” Africa to the Russia (by the way killing 90% of World population, in order to accomplish my plan).

One particular evil deed which I have really accomplished was 11 September. Once two American missionaries beat me. I decided that I should punish America and said to angels: “Destroy two skyscrapers with airplanes.” My words were accomplished a few years after I have said this.

By studying the above mentioned ancient Hebrew Bible fragment I have also concluded that I am not a man but a seraph in human body. (I tried to explain the fact that I do not have scientific knowledge surpassing human knowledge by thinking that I am “ciphered”.) My pride increased with this even more.

From more Bible study I concluded that my city (Perm) would be destroyed with nuclear weapon before the end of Autumn. You know that my this prophecy was false.

Once I visited a pastor and told him about these things (especially of the expected nuclear burst in Perm and my prophetic position and that I am a seraph).

Speaking with the pastor, I told that I am tired from the war with people and that it is hard for me to resist demons from taking control over my tired human body. As I spoke this, it accomplished: I’ve lost the control over my body and pronounced disgusting Russian words about Holy Spirit.

After some time passed, I realized that I was a false prophet and I am just a human not a “ciphered seraph”.

Due to my blaspheme about Holy Spirit, I considered that I would probably go to the Hell. Contrary to what you may expect, I enjoyed the possibility to go to the Hell: I thought I was the biggest of all sinners and this should be stopped, my place is in the Hell. It is what I need, to go to the Hell.

I thought about repentance, but noticed that after my first repentance I went to a worse state: I was just a regular maniacal killer, but became an evil of world magnitude. Should I repent again? Won’t it make things yet once even worse?

Some time after this, I concluded that Gospel terminates itself in the same way as Gospel terminates Old Testament. First, I realized just that my former religion was wrong. After this I tried to kill myself, but failed and after this I spent some time in a psychiatric clinic. But later I developed some elements of the new religion, after the end of Gospel and wrote the book End of Gospel after this.

But recently I thought: It is not my evil what is significant (as the world itself which I was going to harm is not significant), but God’s victory over my evil is significant. So I should repent if I can.

Salvation is by faith not by deeds. My blasphemous words about Holy Spirit were not accordingly to the faith (but accordingly a demon taking control over my body for a few seconds). So they can’t harm salvation. True blasphemy on Holy Spirit are words accordingly false faith.

So I think, I am saved and this is indeed good, I do not need to go to the Hell.

I didn’t visit a church. I did not eat Eucharist for long time. I prayed very little.

Can a church accept me, as a prodigal son? (Two notes about the location and language of such a church: 1. I write and read in English but my spoken English (to hear the preachings) is yet weak, I study English however. 2. It seems that soon I will get rich selling my second religious book, this may allow me to easily move to the location of such a church, even if it is in Australia.)

I believe in tongues but don’t speak tongues for a long time, as in my opinion (1Cor. 13:8) “… Where there are various languages, they will cease…” after the revelation of end of Gospel. Below there is my opinion on Prosperity Gospel:

    Prosperity Gospel

It looks like that Gospel’s definite answer about prosperity doctrine is no! (1Tim. 6:8-9) “8 But having food and clothing, we will be content with that. 9 But those who are determined to be rich fall into a temptation and a snare and many foolish and harmful lusts, such as drown men in ruin and destruction.”

This is the death of Prosperity doctrine.

But remember that in Gospel after death there is resurrection! (Jam. 1:2-4) “2 Count it all joy, my brothers, when you fall into various temptations, 3 knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. 4 Let endurance have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.” In this Bible verse “various” ones includes temptation of richness. So we should accept with great joy when God gives us richness. We should lack in nothing (= be rich) accordingly the above Bible quote. Also (Jam. 1:12) “Blessed is the man who endures temptation, for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life, which the Lord promised to those who love him.”

(Jam. 1:9-10) “But let the brother in humble circumstances glory in his high position; and the rich, in that he is made humble, because like the flower in the grass, he will pass away.” It is the reverse of what we thought.

Riches should understand that they are tempted more: (Jam. 5:1) “Come now, you rich, weep and howl for your miseries that are coming on you.”

  • Why Christ was tempted

Long time I wondered why Christ was tempted: (Heb. 4:15) “For we don’t have a high priest who can’t be touched with the feeling of our infirmities, but one who has been in all points tempted like we are, yet without sin.”

God cannot be tempted and Christ is an image of God.

A few minutes ago I’ve understood this: He was tempted not with the purpose to make Him himself to take a right decision (He always makes right decision). He was tempted with the purpose that others (people, angels, whoever) would see His reaction to a temptation.

In other words, He was tempted to set the world right about responses to temptations, so that others would learn from Him.

  • The mission of saints is peace

(Rev. 13:10) “10 … If anyone is with the sword, he must be killed. Here is the endurance and the faith of the saints.”

Saints were created by God who has given them faith with a particular purpose. This purpose is to keep peace in the heavens. Saints are created to keep one particular principle: “If anyone is with the sword, he must be killed” that is to stop any war. This is a simple principle, but keeping it is a hard task splitting into many different areas of service of saints. The word “endurance” in Rev. 13:10 signifies that one needs endurance to endure over many different facets of war and keep peace in all situations.

(Gal. 4:26) “But the Jerusalem that is above is free, which is the mother of us all.” This is about a city in heaven. The word Jerusalem translates as “a city of peace”. This is a capital city in heaven whose purpose is to keep peace in heaven. It is our mother because we were created after its task (to keep peace).

The Jerusalem on the Earth was also created with the same purpose to keep peace, but as we see now, it has not yet reached its service, it is its future service to keep peace.

  • Christ is our hope (theology)

I have added an interpretation of 1Tim. 1:1 and Rom. 8:24 to God compared with a civilization theological article (see chapter 10).

I state that Christ is hope/dream and that our salvation consists of dreams.

    Read more in the article.

(1Tim. 1:1) “… Christ Jesus our hope”. I would translate instead “… Christ Jesus our dream”.

What is a dream? It is the best we can imagine of. So Christ Jesus is the best we can imagine of.

    This is twofold:

    1. First this means that Christ is good and nothing we imagine can be better than Him.
    2. Second this means, that our common imagination is good enough to attain Christ.

Also: (Rom. 8:24) “… we were saved in hope …” or “… we were saved in dream …”. It means that our salvation consists of dreams (like as a table consists of atoms). It also means that our dream (the best we can hope for) is exactly what we will become when our salvation is accomplished. We will be exactly what we hope to be.
