(Revelation 3) “20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, then I will come in to him, and will dine with him, and he with me. 21 He who overcomes, I will give to him to sit down with me on my throne, as I also overcame, and sat down with my Father on his throne. 22 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies.”
There are doors in our life. Door is by definition something which separates two connected spaces and can be opened in some way.
Christ teaches us that we should open doors. It may be a scientific breakthrough (that is when not just continuous development of science happens, but well breakthrough) or something other.
To him who both hears Jesus’ voice and opens some door, He gives a high reward. The condition of the reward is both a breakthrough and hearing His voice. If an unbeliever (and even a believer which fails to hear and understand Him) does a breakthrough, he is not rewarded. But we should do breakthroughs to be rewarded.
