  • Serving God for reward

    Today I got this idea:

We should not serve God as slaves, because we are no more slaves, God has delivered as from slavery, as I teach in the book End of Gospel.

But we indeed can serve God for reward. God has promised to reward for righteousness. We can drive nearer to righteousness to receive God’s reward.

If we serve for reward, we are not slaves anymore because slaves serve not for reward.

This does not mean that the reward would be our reason to serve God. We are to serve Him because we love Him. But knowing what God rewards we will know what to do for Him.

This is an incentive to study Bible, to know what God rewards for.

The main idea is that we are not slaves of anybody, even not slaves of God anymore.

  • God compared with a civilization – first draft

The first draft of the article “God compared with a civilization” put online. In this article I compare God with a highly developed technological civilization. God is studied following this analogy (and Bible). Using this analogy certain mysteries such as Holy Trinity become clear.

  • Do aliens exist according Bible?

(Jn. 10:16) I have other sheep, which are not of this fold. I must bring them also, and they will hear my voice. They will become one flock with one shepherd.

Traditionally this is interpreted as Christ saving not only Jews but also gentiles (other sheep). But I believe it also means that there are aliens not from this fold that is not from this planet.

There are also an other verse which signifies that aliens exist:

(Mt. 23:37) “Jerusalem, Jerusalem, who kills the prophets, and stones those who are sent to her! How often would I have gathered your children together, even as a hen gathers her chickens under her wings, and you would not!.

Her wings signifies wings of Christ that is wings of flying machines which belong to aliens which belong to Christ.

Christ many times wanted to gather people under the wings of his flying machines, but people would not.

Let’s wait for the second come of Christ when he will bring His wings to the Earth.

  • Updated “What is soul?” section

I updated the “What is soul?” section of online book “End of Gospel”.

The updated section is reprised here:

    What is soul?

Soul is believed to be eternal, immaterial part of man.

    What this means?

I have an unexpected answer: Soul is the warranty (given by God) for body (including warranty of preservation of information in the brain).

God gives the warranty as the creator of man.

So, it is natural that soul is eternal (that is God gives the warranty of eternal life) and immaterial (soul is not some thinner matter like astral bodies in some religions).

This way we come to the possibility of agreement of our religion with the science: The mind of a man is located in the brain but is backed up by independent soul.

The resurrection of the dead is an inherent property of soul (given by God). God warranted that if a man will die he will resurrect, this warranty is a part of soul.

Thus we have quite natural theory: God created agricultural robots (Gen. 1:15) Yahweh God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it. with eternal warranty and backup.

Soul consists of hope. I could better translate this word dream. That is soul consists of dreams. (Rom. 8:24) … we were saved in hope. Hope is one of the three the most stable things in the Universe: (1Cor. 13:13) … faith, hope, and love remain—these three (remain mean that these cannot be destroyed, that is these are preserved at such things as bursts or any other destruction). So our salvation is preserved in the most stable form, as a dream of God which cannot be destroyed. Salvation is hope.

Note that I am speaking about soul mean the Greek word psyche, not Hebrew word nephesh.

  • Three persons of God

Accordingly our belief “God is three persons in one substance”. In this blog post written by a theologian Dale Tuggy is asked what “persons” and in this blog post by the same theologian is asked what is “substance”. I feel that now I cannot understand what is “substance”. Indeed it seems that I have a fairly good understanding what is “person”.

In our trinity statement of faith (“God is three persons in one substance”) a “person” means “somebody who speaks and hears”. A person is defined by what he speaks and hears.

    (Psalms 2:7-9)
7 I will tell of the decree. Yahweh said to me, “You are my son. Today I have become your father.
8 Ask of me, and I will give the nations for your inheritance, The uttermost parts of the earth for your possession.
9 You shall break them with a rod of iron. You shall dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel.”

Here God the Father speaks with God the Son. From this is clear that sayings and hearings of Father and Son are distinct. Father and Son are two different persons.

So, there are three distinct (different) persons of God.

  • Does Christ know the time of Second Come?

Ancient Arians and modern Jehovah’s Witnesses claim that Christ is not God but a finite creature. They lack bold arguments supporting their opinion. We infer from Bible that Christ is God. Well, there are one exception: Mark 13:32. Its naive interpretation looks like a very strong argument supporting the position that Christ does not know all and therefore is not God.

Well, the verse with the issue (Mr. 13:32) “But of that day or that hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.” states that Son (that is Christ) does not know the day or hour of the Second Come of Christ. Isn’t it a very strong argument in regard of the position of Arians and Jehovah’s Witnesses?

As I assert in the book End of Gospel, Gospel is tricky and we should know a trick to properly understand it.

The answer is that Christ knows all except of He does not know Himself. The time of Second Come depends on Christ and Christ does not know things dependent on Himself.

This is supported by Bible: (Mt. 11:27) “… No one knows the Son, except the Father; neither does anyone know the Father, except the Son, and he to whom the Son desires to reveal him.” So Son (Christ) is known only by the Father not known by anyone else including Himself. Christ does not know Christ. When saying that Christ knows all, I mean that He knows all except of Himself (that is except of His own decisions). The time of Second Come is dependent on a decision of Christ and Christ does not know His decision ahead of time. This is meant saying that Christ does not know the time of His Second Come.

So, OK, Christ knows all about the world but does not know ahead His own decision about the time of Second Come.
